These are my Peninsula Art Academy Plein Air Competition accepted entries. “Oxbow Meadow Ridge” 11”x14″ (Honorable Mention) and “Wetmore Trail” 11”x12″ both in acrylics and painted in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. There are plenty of great paintings on view at Peninsula Arts Academy as we have many accomplished Plein Air painters in this area.

Works included were Figurative, Landscape, Abstract, and Botanical work in Oils, Pastels, Acrylic, Mixed Media, Watercolor and Graphic pieces. The selections spanned work from various periods from 1978 to present. See below for a video of the work displayed.

“Cleome” oil on canvas has been accepted into the July – September 2024 show.
“At Rest in the Garden” conte and pastel on paper was accepted and displayed in the March 2024 show of figurative works.
I’m quite excited to have two of my pieces accepted into the Lakeland Community College May Show, the opening was May 18, 2023 and the show runs from May 18 – July 14, 2023. Lakeland is on Clocktower Drive, off of RT 306 between Kirtland and Mentor, OH
Three of my paintings are on view at the show Art in the Garden at Peninsula Art Academy in Peninsula, OH
The full exhibit will run through July 23, 2023, with viewing available at the Peninsula Art Academy starting June 11 during regular gallery hours (Thurs. 12-3pm, Fri.-Sun. 11am-5pm).
